More problems at the ITV station in Las Chafiras

The nightmare continues, only a month or so after reports of a complete breakdown in the ITV system (the Spanish equivalent of the UK MOT) the chaos continues. Reports are coming in that yet again, in order to obtain a  test, drivers are having to turn up in the early hours, meaning a day off work for many. Another major complaint centres around the “attitude” of the staff with some drivers claiming they have been treated like rubbish adding that there is a complete lack of organization in the offices.

The aim of these early birds was to was to enroll in the “waiting list” in order to avoid having to take a number, as taking a number can mean waiting literally weeks on end.

Some companies and workshops have no choice but to turn up in the morning. Taking a number and being given a date in mid-April is simply not acceptable to many.

Apparently, trying to phone gets you nowhere as the calls simply go unanswered therefore customer service is practically non-existent. Every day hundreds of cars arrive at the facility, hoping to get through the test as quickly as possible and get that “little sticker”. unfortunately for many, they will leave thoroughly frustrated and disappointed.
